About Classroom 7x

Classroom 7x is a free browser games website with 111+ hand-picked games. Our goal is simple: make it fast and easy to play a good game during a break, without downloads, accounts or messy pages full of broken links.

How we choose games

• Quality first. We pick well-known, well-made games rather than listing thousands of copies.
• Tested to load. Every game is checked to make sure it starts in a modern browser, including Chrome on Chromebooks.
• School-appropriate. We avoid graphic, gory or adult content. Action games are cartoon or arcade style.
• Helpful guides. Each game has its own page with how to play, controls, tips and answers to common questions.

Where the games come from

Most games are provided by their developers through GameDistribution, a licensed HTML5 game distribution network that lets websites embed games with the developers' permission. Some of these games show short ads, which is how the developers are paid.

6 classic open-source games (2048, Dino Game (T-Rex Runner), Hextris, A Dark Room, Clumsy Bird, Astray) are served directly from Classroom 7x under their open-source licenses, with full credit to their creators. Classroom 7x does not require accounts and does not ask players for personal information. Favorites and recently played games are stored only in the player's own browser.
