Atari Missile Command Unblocked

by Atari

Atari Missile Command uses keyboard or mouse controls. It plays best on a Chromebook, laptop or desktop.

Atari Missile Command unblocked revives one of the most famous arcade defense games ever made. Six cities sit beneath a sky full of incoming warheads, and only your cannons stand in the way. Aim with the mouse, fire with precision and fight through wave after wave on Classroom 7x for as long as your cities survive.

About Atari Missile Command

The setup of Atari Missile Command is pure arcade tension. An endless stream of ballistic missiles rains down on your six cities, and you defend them with three cannons that you can aim freely anywhere on screen. This version adds plenty of variety to the threats. Planes drop missiles and mortars, drones carry special explosives, and some missiles try to evade your shots. Each new type of attacker forces you to rethink where and when to fire.

Scoring rewards both offense and defense. Every city that survives earns 100 points and every unused missile adds 5 more, so careful shooting pays off. As you advance through levels, your points get a multiplier of x2 or even x3, and every 10,000 points grants you a bonus city. The game only ends when all of your cities are destroyed, which means a strong defense can keep a single run going for a very long time and push your score to impressive heights.

How to Play Atari Missile Command

  1. Move your mouse to aim at incoming missiles anywhere in the sky above your cities.
  2. Click to fire from your cannons and destroy enemy missiles before they reach the ground.
  3. Watch for planes, drones and evasive missiles, and deal first with whatever threatens your cities most.
  4. Conserve ammunition whenever you can, since every unused missile earns you bonus points.
  5. Keep at least one city standing to stay in the game, and earn a bonus city every 10,000 points.

Tips and Tricks

  • Fire slightly ahead of incoming missiles, not directly at them. Your shot takes time to reach its target, so leading it makes interceptions far more reliable.
  • Place one blast where several missiles are about to cross. A single well-placed explosion can take out multiple threats and save ammunition.
  • Deal with planes and drones quickly. Left alone, they add more missiles and explosives to an already crowded sky.
  • Focus your fire on threats headed for your cities. Saving ammo means more defense for later and more bonus points at the end.
