Clumsy Bird Unblocked

by Ellison Leão

Clumsy Bird unblocked is a one-button test of timing that feels instantly familiar if you have ever played Flappy Bird. Keep your bird in the air, slip through the openings between pipes and collect a point for every set you clear. It loads straight from Classroom 7x, so a fresh attempt is always just one tap away.

About Clumsy Bird

Clumsy Bird is an open-source game by developer Ellison Leão, built with the melonJS engine and inspired by the famously tough Flappy Bird. The setup is about as simple as games get. Your bird is always falling, and each flap gives it a small lift. Pipes scroll toward you with a gap to fly through, and your job is to guide the bird through each opening without clipping the edges. A single mistake is all it takes to end the run.

Scoring is easy to follow: each pipe you pass adds one point, and your best score is remembered so you always have a number to beat. Touching a pipe or hitting the ground sends you back to the start, which is exactly what makes it so addictive. Runs might last only seconds at first, then gradually stretch longer as your rhythm improves. You can flap with a click, a tap, the Space bar or the Up arrow, so it works well with a mouse, a keyboard or a touchscreen.

How to Play Clumsy Bird

  1. Click, tap, or press Space or the Up arrow to make your bird flap upward.
  2. Pause between flaps to let the bird drift down, using a steady rhythm to control your height.
  3. Line up with the opening in each pair of pipes and fly straight through the gap.
  4. Earn one point for every pipe you pass and keep going for as long as you can.
  5. Avoid touching the pipes or the ground, since either one ends your run instantly.

Tips and Tricks

  • Use short, light flaps instead of frantic tapping. Small corrections keep the bird steady, while rapid taps usually send it into the top pipe.
  • Aim to fly through the middle of each gap. Staying centered leaves room for error on both the top and bottom edges.
  • Start adjusting your height as soon as the next pipe comes into view rather than waiting until you are right in front of it.
  • Pick one input and stick with it. Switching between the mouse, Space and the Up arrow mid-run can easily throw off your timing.

Clumsy Bird FAQ

Is Clumsy Bird the same as Flappy Bird?

Not exactly. It is a separate open-source game made by Ellison Leão that plays in the same style: one input to flap, pipes to dodge and a point for every gap you clear. If you know Flappy Bird, you already know how to play.

What ends a run?

A run ends as soon as your bird touches a pipe or hits the ground. There are no extra lives, so every flap counts. You can start a new attempt right away and try to top your previous best.

Does the game remember my best score?

Yes. Your best score is remembered, so you always have a target to beat on your next attempt. Each pipe you pass is worth one point, which makes it easy to see exactly how far you got.

Can I play Clumsy Bird on a school Chromebook?

Yes. Clumsy Bird runs in the Chrome browser, so it works on Chromebooks, Windows PCs and Macs, and it also supports touch screens on tablets and phones. Nothing needs to be installed.

Is Clumsy Bird free to play?

Yes, Clumsy Bird is completely free on Classroom 7x. There is no download, no account and no sign-up. Press Play and the game loads right on this page.
