Dino Game (T-Rex Runner) Unblocked

by Google Chrome team (open-source Chromium code)

Dino Game (T-Rex Runner) unblocked gives you the little pixel dinosaur from Chrome's no-internet page whenever you want it, not just when your Wi-Fi drops. This version loads directly from Classroom 7x, so just press Space and start running. It is simple, quick and surprisingly hard to put down once you start chasing a better score.

About Dino Game (T-Rex Runner)

The Google Chrome UX team created this endless runner in 2014 as a small surprise for anyone who lost their connection, and it quickly became a favorite far beyond that error screen. The rules fit in one breath: your T-Rex runs on its own, and you jump over cacti and duck under pterodactyls. One hit ends the run. The longer you survive, the faster the ground scrolls, which turns an easy warm-up into a real test of timing and reflexes.

This copy is built from the open-source Chromium code, so it plays just like the original, including the switch to a dark night mode once your score climbs high enough. Your best result is displayed in the corner of the screen, giving you a constant target to beat. Dino Game (T-Rex Runner) works with a keyboard or a touch screen, which makes it a handy pick when you only have a minute or two and want something you can master in seconds.

How to Play Dino Game (T-Rex Runner)

  1. Press Space or the Up arrow to start the run and get the dinosaur moving.
  2. Jump over cacti by pressing Space or Up just before the dinosaur reaches them.
  3. Hold the Down arrow to duck under pterodactyls flying at head height, or jump over the ones that swoop low.
  4. Survive as long as you can, keeping in mind that the game speeds up the further you go.
  5. After a crash, press Space or tap to run again and try to beat the high score shown in the corner.

Tips and Tricks

  • Watch the space beyond the next obstacle, not just the one in front of you. Seeing what comes next helps you avoid landing right on a second cactus.
  • Start your jumps a little earlier as the speed increases. A timing that worked at the beginning of a run will be too late once the ground is racing past.
  • Duck under pterodactyls at head height instead of jumping them. Staying low keeps you on the ground and ready for whatever cactus comes next.
  • Stay calm when the screen flips to night mode. The obstacles behave exactly the same, so keep your rhythm while your eyes adjust to the darker colors.
  • Rest your fingers on Space and Down before you start, so you never lose time reaching for a key when a bird suddenly appears.
